Dahl acquires Bierregaards

Ratos's associated company Dahl has acquired Bierregaards, a specialist Hevac wholesaler. This deal means that Dahl Sverige AB strengthens its market position. The seller is Atle Industri, which is 50% Ratos owned.
Bierregaards operates in the Hevac industry with a focus on products for fastening, connecting and sealing pipes. The company has a nationwide presence in Sweden with its head office in Malmö, and is also represented in Norway through its subsidiary TD Olav Berge VVS Engros AS. Annual sales total approximately SEK 170m with an operating profit (EBITA) of approximately SEK 6m. The purchase price amounts to SEK 20m and provides Atle Industri with a small exit gain.
- "Bierregaards is a well-run and profitable company and this acquisition gives us increased competence within a broader product range and with synergies to the core business," says Lennart Kalén CEO of Dahl Sweden, commenting on the acquisition.
- "We see excellent opportunities to further develop our operations together with Dahl Sweden," says Bo Cnattingius CEO of Bierregaards.
